$0.00

This presentation will discuss how to evaluate a patent to determine whether you are infringing, including infringement of each type of patent claim: article, machine, process and composition of matter, as well as method-of-doing-business claims. The discussion will take into consideration direct infringement, contributory infringement and inducing infringement; it will also discuss the doctrine of equivalents in evaluating infringement and the issue of designing around patent claims to avoid infringement. Finally, it will briefly discuss questions of patent validity.
